It's free for limited/non-profit use, and seems fairly lightweight and stable. This setup could actually be very cool - TeamSpeak has a lot of good functionality, like being able to permission, mute, and adjust the volume of individual commentators, and our people can use their own iPhone/Android devices, with or without Bluetooth headsets, and either on WiFi or 4G through a firewall.
I am seeing signs of products ('Virtual Audio Cable' for one) that promise just this, but ratings look sketchy and I'm leery of following some of the links I'm seeing, which is a shame being as gaming seems to be one of the last bastions of quality and passion left in computing :( Any recommendations here on the forum, either for a reputable product, a device configuration procedure native to Windows 7, or something in vMix I've missed so far? What I'm wondering is whether vMix offers a similar feature - installation of a virtual audio device I can use as a junction between any program supporting output device selection and vMix, which already offers input device selection. I've gotten this to work pretty well, but the only device I could find as a 'tie' between the two was a virtual microphone on my dev system present courtesy of a vMix competitor I was evaluating (I like vMix much better btw ). Output of a TeamSpeak channel would be funneled into a vMix audio input via a device. Got to obs and click on "settings" on the lower right side of the main screen.I'm experimenting with TeamSpeak as a way to have a group of commentators chat about a race in progress. In discord (or any other comun soft) set the "output device" as "Cable a input" or "Cable b input". Configurer all "Cable output" to make them listen to your original speakers (check listen to the device and then choose your speakers). Leave your microphone as the default device.
